Hi, I’m Eugene Vassilas. Welcome to Mykonos.
To me, Mykonos is a meeting place. A place where cultures intertwine on an unlikely mass of white amidst a sea of blue. A place once pillaged by pirates, ruled by the Romans and said to be governed by the will of the winds.
Mykonos also makes my story possible. Why? Because it was here my parents met. My dad—a local, my mom—a tourist, and well… you know the rest.
So while I was ultimately born and educated in the States, it was on this island I grew up— spending my early summers climbing rocks, diving for sea-urchins and building sand castles adjacent crystalline waters.
Today, as an adult who facilities workshops, runs retreats and coaches high-performers around the world, I still feel nourished by this place. In fact, few places compare. Not only in terms of unadorned beauty, but in terms of a deep serenity that lends itself to wellness and healing.
So it is to this space, that I welcome you. The Ancients believed that the Gods came to them disguised as strangers. In the same way, I see myself as a steward, charged with sharing this beautiful Aegean refuge to those who feel called.
Hope you’ll join us in June,
Eugene (More prof info here)
